Web Connect Forums

Web Connect for Prophet 21® has a feature that may leave people wondering why it is there at first.  However, the Forums feature in Web Connect can provide a great way for sales professionals and back-office to communicate and build a body of knowlege over time.

The Forums feature in web connect includes the forum itself and a couple of controls that can be added to sales rep and administrative dashboards.  The forum does what most forums do - allow users to post questions and make comments.  These questions and comments can then be responded to by other users of the system.

The Forum system is limited to sales reps and administrators meaning that users in the various Customer roles will not have access to the discussions.

Another powerful application of the Forums is when used as an announcement system by Web Connect Administrators.  Administrators can create new posts that are designed to direct or advise the sales staff.

When combined with the Web Connect News and Articles system and the Web Connect Custom Page system, communication and discussion can be greatly enhanced in any organization that uses Prophet 21®
